Main Events

Parade

The Manchester Pride Parade on 29 August is a spectacular procession through the city centre, attracting tens of thousands of participants and spectators. The event will see colourful floats, costumes, and performances, celebrating the strength and unity of the LGBTQ+ community. The parade route starts at the junction of Liverpool Road and Deansgate and includes key city landmarks.

Candlelit Vigil

This solemn event concludes the festival, offering a moment of reflection to remember those lost to HIV and to continue the fight against stigma. Hosted with George House Trust, the vigil provides a poignant end to the celebrations, highlighting the ongoing struggles and triumphs of the LGBTQ+ community.

Gay Village Pride Party

An exciting part of the festival, the Gay Village Party features a diverse lineup of LGBTQ+ performers across multiple stages. The event includes performances at The Village Stage, The Alan Turing Stage in Sackville Gardens, and the Indoor Arena, making it a must-visit for party-goers. Headliners will be announced closer to the event date.
