Phuket Pride 2026 brings a full week of celebrations, community events, and beachside fun to Patong Beach. The festival gathers locals, tourists, and LGBTQI+ visitors from around the world to celebrate for equality in one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world.

Phuket Pride isn’t just about the parties—it’s a platform for promoting human rights, driving conversations around acceptance, and celebrating individuality. Throughout the week, Patong Beach will be the centre of activity, welcoming everyone from locals to international visitors and vulnerable groups to join in the celebration.

Event Highlights

• Beach Volleyball Tournament - The hottest and most athletic gays will descend on the shores of Patong Beach for a sizzling hot volleyball match.

• Pride Talk Volume II - Get ready to be inspired in a forum featuring creative and lively discussions on LGBTQ+ topics.

• Miss Queen Andaman Power 2026 - Have you ever seen a Thai transgender pageant? They go all out and Miss Queen Andaman Power 2026 is not to be missed.

• Pride Parade - The Pride celebrations culminate at Patong Beach, and the parade closes out the festival with a colourful, vibrant march.

Phuket Pride in Recent Years

Phuket’s Pride celebrations made a dynamic comeback post-pandemic, and reimagined for a new era. As LGBTQ+ pride events resurged across Thailand (with Bangkok hosting large Pride parades again from 2022 onwards), Phuket seized the moment to reboot its own Pride tradition. In 2024, Phuket Pride returned with a fresh approach and branding. Instead of its usual April schedule in Patong, the main event was moved to June to coincide with international Pride Month, and the festivities expanded beyond Patong to Phuket Town.

The “Discover Phuket Pride” festival was launched as Phuket’s first-ever official Pride Month parade in the historic Old Town quarter of Phuket City. Thousands of people–including local residents, Thai celebrities, corporate sponsors, and visiting allies–march through the picturesque streets of Talat Yai in a vibrant rainbow procession, and was a resounding success.
